Staten Island, New York (April, 17 2007)-Celerant Technology's 2007 User Conference
was held April 12-13 in fabulous Las Vegas! Due to all of the positive feedback
from last year's conference, it was again held in Caesar's Palace and proved,
once again, to be a very successful event.
"This is my third Celerant User Conference and it was the best yet," said
Macon Jones, Celerant client and Operations Manager for Men of Measure Big and
Tall Clothing, based in Tennessee. "Being able to bring issues directly
to the Celerant staff, face to face, one on one, assures me that my concerns
are taken seriously. Again, this year's breakout groups provided a platform
to pick the brains of other users and help me share best practices. Congratulations
Celerant! it was time and money well spent!"
Brad Borofsky, from Sam's Department Store, Inc., located in Brattleboro, Vermont
added, "Attending the conference is very important to us. As a fairly new
Celerant client, we have much to learn, and the information available at the
conference is substantial. It's a great forum in which to raise questions and
concerns, and, in many cases, get answers. Beyond that, the ability to meet,
discuss topics, and exchange contact info with other Celerant users, is enough
reason in itself to attend."
David Brooks, President of Appalachian Spring, a home décor chain based
in Virginia, agreed that "The greatest benefit of the annual Celerant User
Conference is continuing the friendships developed with other users from the
last conference and learning from their experiences. The topics raised in the
group discussions allowed us to learn about features of Celerant that we had
not yet utilized. Our overall Celerant usage is definitely enhanced by this
conference."
Celerant's User Conference was coordinated in order to enhance the experience
of Celerant Command Retail and increase the interaction between the clients
and the company. The first day of the event consisted of presentations by Celerant
Specialists, explaining many of the new features and enhancements within the
retail software. The second day included smaller, hands-on break-out sessions,
in which the clients had the opportunity, in advance, to choose the most relevant
topics.
"Our focus each year at the conference is to increase communications between
our company and our clients. It is very important for us to be able to interact
on an individual level, and this is our best opportunity to do so," said
Ian Goldman, CEO/President of Celerant Technology. "The conference each
year is not only for us to explain all of the new developments within our software,
but more importantly for us to connect with our clients and answer any of their
individual questions. Our goal is for each client to leave our conference with
much more knowledge of our system, awareness of the new functionality, and a
better understanding of both our company and the people that make up our company.
I am very pleased that, once again, we have accomplished that goal."
We have already begun researching different locations for next year's User
Conference and will again allow our clients to vote on their favorite city.
We hope that wherever it is next year, it will continue to be a huge success!
