Celerant To Host First User Conference

Staten Island, NY --February 23, 2004- Times Square, New York City will be the location for the first annual Celerant User conference. The conference, "Getting More out of RMS" will be held on April 1-2 and is intended to provide a valuable exchange for both RMS users and the Celerant Technology staff.

At the conference, users will have the opportunity to try out new hardware and software tools, like Biometric security, wireless handheld devices, and integrated UPS OnLine Tools. Brandon Fouts, Celerant Java developer, demonstrate the capabilities of the newest version of RMS, RMS 6.0, the first system that is 100% Java in the industry. In an adjoining session, Ian Goldman, CEO of Celerant, will give his industry perspective on Linux and discuss the implications of Java technology in the industry. In a guest session, ANT USA, producers of Buyer's Toolbox, a merchandise and assortment planning solution, will discuss how to implement a successful planning and Open to Buy strategy.

According to Ian Goldman, CEO of Celerant, the focus of this first session is all on the clients. "One of the reasons that Celerant is able to stay so far ahead of the curve in the industry is we listen carefully to our clients and use technology as the vehicle to solve their business problems. In many cases this forum is an extension of that belief. It is an opportunity to further educate our clients and for them to inform us directly on their daily concerns,"comments Goldman.

Participants have an active, contributing function in this user conference. In the Attendee Session, retailers decide the topic based on any industry related topic they want to know more about. They will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Celerant Executive and Technical staff, including developers, hardware specialists, Training Specialists, and Celerant CEO, Ian Goldman.

Getting More Out of RMS User Conference will be held on April 1-2, 2004 at the Renaissance Hotel in New York City. For more information, please visit the Celerant web site at www.celerant.com, or go directly to the information page at http://www.celerant.com/email/clients/userconference.htm
