The result of our hard work and years of development is our Enterprise Application Server (EAS) architecture, a unique platform that employs Java technology to efficiently operate multiple locations from a single centralized data repository. With EAS, information flows through the organization in real-time, providing live, accurate data and unrivaled remote managerial control.

The design of the multi-threaded EAS servers enables Celerant to process very high transaction volume. Since each EAS server can service the requests of multiple workstations/registers, the database platform is no longer a bottleneck as it can be on many traditional client/server systems.

Celerant makes use of a single company-wide database to maintain all critical enterprise data. This database instance, which is located in your corporate data center, is interacted via the EAS servers that service the requests made by your workstations and point of sale terminals. As EAS servers process requests on behalf of workstations and point of sale terminals, they communicate directly with this database, bypassing the need to maintain multiple copies of important company data. By making sure that all of the company data is located within a single repository (instead of distributed in many smaller chunks throughout the company), Celerant helps to minimize the risks involved in data synchronization and increases the usefulness of enterprise data.
