Celerant Technology Holds Third Annual User Conference in Las Vegas
Staten Island, NY (June 13, 2006)--Celerant Technology Corp, a leading provider of real-time retail management systems, held their 2006 User Conference on May 31-June 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The interactive, three day event took place at Caesar's Palace and was attended by of over eighty Celerant clients.
"This year's user conference was a great help to our company,"; said Rick Matthews, Controller for Utah-based sporting good store, Park Sportsman. "We were able to interact with the Celerant staff and other users and discuss our needs and concerns. It's always great to talk to other users and share best practices. Celerant's staff paid careful attention to everybody's comments. I am certain that Celerant Command Retail, will be a better product because of the user conference."
Since many existing Celerant clients are in transition from version 5 onto Celerant's most recent version, Celerant Command Retail, the first day of the conference was a training day. Attendees were divided into beginner and advanced groups based on current version status.
Day two of the conference was a lecture day, with presentations from Celerant staff on various topics such as Advanced Reporting, Electronic Data Interchange, and System Architecture. The final day offered over fifteen break-out sessions, enabling clients to choose the topics of most importance to their individual organization, and work in smaller, more intimate groups.
"Each year, our User Conference grows significantly, reflecting the development of our company as a whole. We took a different approach this year, incorporating a full day of break out sessions, and were delighted with the positive feedback from our attendees," says Ian Goldman, CEO of Celerant Technology. "This was a great opportunity for our company to connect with all of our clients and gain a better understanding of the needs of our client base. The location of Celerant's User Conference changes annually and has not yet been determined for next year.
