Celerant Technology Collaborates with Muttropolis Dog & Cat Boutique to Launch
New Website
Staten Island, NY (July 13, 2006) - The San Diego-based upscale dog and cat
boutique, Muttropolis, selected real-time retail management company, Celerant
Technology Corp., to power its newly innovative online storefront, www.muttropolis.com.
After two months, the Muttropolis website was officially launched and released
to the public on May 22.
"With our unique pet-centric vibe-ranging from our "mutt mingles" to our photographic
grass tile, we've clearly created a shopping experience that's a breed apart
from other retailers," says Muttropolis Chief Marketing Officer, Janet McCulley.

launched a new and improved web boutique, improving our shopper's online experience

enables visitors to quickly find what they're looking for, enjoy a streamlined
checkout process and a user-friendly return policy, positioning our online
boutique as a great place to shop."
Muttropolis, which was recently named "Hottest Retail of the Year" by the
International Council of Shopping Centers, collaborated with the Celerant
web team to create a website that would ultimately reflect the unique Muttropolis
brand to pet lovers everywhere. The site now fully integrates with the store's
retail management system, Celerant Command Retail.
"With Celerant's integrated e-commerce capabilities, all Muttropolis' inventory
and sales are accurate and easily managed in real-time. This eliminates the
need for the company to maintain two separate inventory management systems,
as they have done in the past," says Celerant CEO Ian Goldman. "Now, when
customer's make purchases on the site, sales are automatically calculated
in the main system as the purchase is completed."
In upcoming months, Muttropolis plans to add a gift registry onto their website
that will enable pet owners to register for their favorite products.
