Celerant Technology, the #1-rated retail software provider for 2023, recently wrapped up its 19th annual client conference in Marietta, GA. With today’s digital explosion, this year’s conference focused heavily on helping the company’s brick-and-mortar retailer clients adapt a complete digital strategy to be more competitive, and expand business across all retail channels.
Key Topics at Celerant’s 2023 Client Conference:
Celerant’s CEO & President, Ian Goldman, kicked off the conference with a warm ‘Welcome Address’ highlighting the importance of going digital, and what it takes for retailers to win in today’s retail landscape. Over the 3-day conference, Celerant offered a brand new ‘Retailer Boot Camp’, and hosted 25+ breakouts, interactive workshops and one-on-one sessions. This year’s conference offered sessions focused on eCommerce, search engine optimization (SEO), mobile shopping apps, digital marketing and BOPIS; Celerant also offered several sessions to help retailers improve in-store operations, including mobile inventory, vendor integrations and back office accounting, along with industry-specific sessions for sporting goods and Goodwill Industries International retailers, and much more.
Keynote Speakers and Partners
This year’s conference featured energetic and insightful keynotes focused on in-store and online strategies. Bob Negen from WhizBang! Retail Training delivered an inspiring keynote about how retailers can become ‘the store of choice’ by getting creative, growing digitally, and giving customers what they want. Paul Erickson from Management One, delivered an insightful and entertaining keynote titled ‘Understanding Your True Profit Potential’, focused on 6 biases retailers have, including markups, large inventory selections and return policies. Amazon educated Celerant’s retailers on the new Amazon Today program that enables independent retailers to leverage Amazon to gain more local customers looking for in-store pick-up or same day delivery.
Celerant’s retail clients also had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with some of Celerant’s partners, and learn about their software solutions, including Avalara, Shift4, Fortis, Worldpay from FIS, Star Micronics, SPS Commerce, Sezzle, Otter Waiver and more.
